BARCELONA

Of course Barcelona is about Gaudi. He died in 1926 but his architecture still sets the style in the city. We took a bike tour of the city which is the best way to see any major city in the world. They are big cruiser bikes anyone can ride which is born out by some of the people on the tours (not cyclists). We cruised the city stopping and learning about different sites.

The Segrada Familia was started in 1878 and should be finished in 1930 or so. In person is is truly Gaudi, strange, very strange.

The Gaudi Museum. He built houses for locals to raise money to build the Sacrada Familia and this one has been made into a museum. He is still considered an architectural genius.

And of course the end of the day with Tapas and Sangria.
